This is an observatory quality instrument, ideal for the serious astronomer.A superb optical assembly is mated to a high-quality heavy-duty GOTO mount assembly and comes with the high-qualityeyepieces one would expect in an instrument of this calibre.Although listed as used, the instrument has seen very little use and is about 18 months old (roughly) and it and the supplied accessories are in truly excellent condition.All the usual cables and hardware is included.

The AZ-EQ6GT is a dual purpose, fully functional computerised heavy-duty Go-To/Tracking astronomical mount in both Alt-Azimuth (AZ) and Equatorial (EQ) modes.It is supplied with a Synscan handset with dual AZ/EQ firmware, it can automatically find and track over 42,900 celestial objects with its database.
In EQ mode, the AZ-EQ6GT is designed for either visual use or precise Astro-imaging.In AZ mode, it is primarily intended for visual use, and in this mode, two telescopes can be mounted simultaneously in parallel.A great feature of the AZ-EQ6GT is the patented dual-encoder technology.This allows the telescope to be moved manually in either axis without the mount losing its positional information.This gives the user enormous freedom, convenience and flexibility during observational sessions.

CELESTRON LUMINOUS EYEPIECES GENERAL FEATURESThe Luminos series eyepieces offer a wide 82 field of view in both high power and low power models, allowing you to make the most of your telescope,
whether you own a short, fast refractor or a Celestron EdgeHD telescope. 
The optical set consists of six or seven elements (depending on the model) and is fully multi-coated for crisp, sharp views. 
All six Luminos eyepieces are parfocal, which means you can switch out eyepieces during observing sessions with little or no additional focusing required.
The Luminos eyepiece body is made of polished and anodised aluminium. 
A rubber grip runs around the equator of the eyepiece, giving you a secure grip and an easy method for raising and lowering the retractable eyecup. 
Simply twist the rubber grip to adjust the height of the eyecup.
