Celestron C100ED-R APO with 0.85x Focal Reducer.

Earlier version of the Skywatcher Evostar 100ED Pro RRP 749, pretty much the same.

Excellent scope with great ED APO optics. 

Diameter 100mm 4″, FL 900mm f/9

Comes with:

Celestron CG-5 Mount.

All in good used condition and working fine. Has given me some great images!
Can’t find eyepiece adaptor for the reducer, but they can be found online depending on whether you use 2″ or 1 1/4″ eyepieces.

Collection only. Located 5mins from J28 of M4 Newport S.Wales (not too far from Severn Bridge.)

The pinnacle of Celestron’s ED scopes, this refractor is packed with great features and excellent optics. The refractor style 100ED (APO) features a 2″ rack and pinion focuser and has a bracket that can adapt to a photo tripod. ED glass provides excellent color correction and razor sharp images and virtually eliminates chromatic aberration usually seen during planetary and lunar viewing. This telescope comes complete with an erect image diagonal and 6×30 finderscope.

The German Equatorial mount has precision worm gears on both axes for extremely smooth stability. The key element that makes this system the most stable in its class is the heavy-duty tripod with larger and more substantial legs that offer excellent damping characteristics for more stable views.
