Description – Celestron AstroMaster AZ Tripod: The Celestron tripod provides a steady platform for spotting scope, binocular, camera and other optical instruments. Constructed from aluminium it has two pole lockable legs. Adjustable 1.25 stainless steel legs provide a minimum height of 24 inches and a max of 41 inches. The tripod offers quick and easy setup. The altitude is controlled by a pan handle while the azimuth in controlled by azimuth lock. Sturdy pan head with long handle makes smooth movements and can be locked into place. A dovetail bracket is included for attaching an optical instrument to the tripod. The tripod can support an optical instrument of up to 10 pounds weight.
