I have relisted because the winning bidder withdrew because someone scraped his car the day he was coming to collect the scope.
I am reluctantly selling my telescope which is in as new condition having been used only four times. I bought the scope a year ago having made the decision to retire and work part-time, the idea being I could devote time to the hobby I have always wanted to pursue. However, the part-time work very quickly became quite a lot more and since I still enjoy my work, the stargazing will have to wait for a later date. This scope is the motorised version and comes with all the extras as listed below and original packaging.
This item is quite heavy, 17kg, and also fragile so I would prefer collection in person.
Celestron Astromaster 130 EQ MD
The addition of a motor drive to the regular Astro Master 130 EQ enables you to automatically track those items of interest. If youre looking for a dual purpose telescope appropriate for both terrestrial and celestial viewing, then the AstroMaster Series is for you. Each AstroMaster model is capable of giving optically corrected views of land and sky. The AstroMaster Series produce bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. It is easy to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments.
