We are official Celestron UK dealers so you can bid on this item with confidence. If you’re looking for a dual-purpose telescope appropriate for both terrestrial and celestial viewing then whilst Celestron say all AstroMaster Series can technically do this, we would advise that this model is much better suited to astronomical use. Only one eyepiece is capable of giving correct views of land and sky and the EQ style mount is awkward to use for horizon level daytime viewing.  It is however an excellent  starter scope for the night skies! For those looking for a more dual purpose scope to use in daytime too we recommend you take a look at our listing for the Astromaster 102 AZ.The AstroMaster Series produce bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. It is easy to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments. For views of the brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light gathering ability of the Newtonian reflectors.General Details:Quick and easy no-tool setupPermanently mounted StarPointerErect image optics – Ideal for terrestrial and astronomical useQuick release dovetail attachment – no tool setupGerman Equatorial Mount with Setting circles – to accurately locate and track sky objectsRugged pre-assembled tripod with 1.25″ steel tube legs – Provides a rigid and stable platformAll coated glass optics for clear, crisp imagesDeluxe accessory tray for convenient storage of accessoriesTheSkyX First Light Edition astronomy software with a 10,000 object database, printable sky maps and 75 enhanced imagesTECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:Optical Design: Newtonian ReflectorAperture (mm): 130 mm (5.12 in)Focal Length: 650 mm (26 in)Focal Ratio: 5Focal Length of Eyepiece 1 (mm): 20 mm (0.79 in)Magnification of Eyepiece 1: 33 xFocal Length of Eyepiece 2 (mm): 10 mm (0.39 in)Magnification of Eyepiece 2: 65 xFinderscope: Built-on StarPointerMount Type: CG-3 EquatorialTripod: 1.25″ steel tube legsHighest Useful Magnification: 307 xLowest Useful Magnification: 19 xLimiting Stellar Magnitude: 13.1Resolution (Rayleigh): 1.07 arc secondsResolution (Dawes): 0.89 arc secondsLight Gathering Power (Compared to human eye): 345 xApparent Field of View: 1.5 Linear Field of View (@1000 yds): 79 ft (24 m)Optical Coatings: AluminumOptical Tube Length: 24 in (610 mm)
