Description The HookUpz Universal Smart Phone Optics Adapter TheHookUpz Universal adapter from Carson Optical allows users to connect amultitude of optics to their smartphones and then use their built in cameraapps to take amazing pictures and videos. Use the adapter to connect yourphone to binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, microscopes (including slitlamps), monoculars, borescopes and so much more! In regards to connecting youruniversal adapter to optical devices, the adapter fits onto optical eyepieceswith an outer housing diameter between 20mm-58mm (2.03cm – 5.72cm) and a depthof at least 14mm. The adapter is compatible with 99% of smartphones in themarketplace and can be used with or without a case. The adapter also featurestwo point locking levers for phone alignment and also a releasable phone clampthat allows users to install and remove their phones quickly. Eyepieces heldin the device are automatically centred, so only one initial phone alignmentis needed, before you can quickly connect your phone to any optic. The adapteris not compatible with riflescopes or phablets. The adapter also features glowin the dark rubber parts to increase visibility in low light situations. Itcomes with an EVA storage case that has an attached carabineer clip and a lensspacer for longer eye relief eyepieces.
