A well used pair of binoculars in quite poor cosmetic condition, but this is down to a lot of use…not abuse, as there is no damage, ie no dints and bangs.
I bought these binoculars around 5 yrs ago, they had seen a lot of use then, but the optics were that good, there was no hesitation in buying them.
There are no lens caps as I took them off whilst birding and left them in the hide, and when I went back they had gone, never to be seen again.
The straps have been thrown away as they were very tatty.
The binoculars have not been used since then, which was end of November 2013.
The good news is that the optics are very very good, there is no dust or marks or misting inside at all, and the external surfaces are really excellent.
The focus and angle adjustments are silky smooth, as new I would imagine, as these binoculars were built to the highest quality of German engineering possible.
The only reason I am selling these is that I have recently moved to the coast and am going to purchase a new/newer pair, almost certainly will be Zeiss again
They were made in  the DDR in 1971/72 (see serial number).
