CARL ZEISSJENOPTEM DDR 10X50W MC  BINOCULARSExcellent condition           Supplied with Red leathercase and strap. (no binocular strap) Serial number is 6587206These wonderful binoculars are in excellentcosmetic condition.  There are some light marks to the paintworkespecially around the strap lugs but these are small and do not distract form theoverall excellent condition of the paintwork, The Zeiss T3M coated lenses are clear giving an exceptionally bright, clear,well-defined image. Collimation is perfect ensuring the best performance isobtained without eyestrain. One of the lenses has several manufacturing stardefects within the coating (shown in the photographs), these are not visiblewhen viewing and do affect the image. Internallythere are some tiny specs but again they do not affect the image. Dioperand focussing mechanisms are smooth in operation. DDRmarked on the prism plate and seven digit serial number ensures these aregenuine East German Zeiss. Thesebinoculars have had very little use. Caseis in good condition also with just light scratching. Case has a strapbinoculars do not.These really are a superbbinocular in excellent condition.They are a joy to use, easy onthe eye and offer a bright clear image.   At 10Xmagnification these are an excellent pair of hand held binoculars, they areideal for pastimes such as birdwatching, sport meetings etc. The extra widefield of view ensures that you can easily pick up your target and follow it incomfort while the large 50mm objective lenses capture enough light for you tocontinue viewing well into twilight.The 10×50 Jenoptem has enjoyed a long and successful historyas a birdwatching glass in the UK and using this pair you can still see why.The image quality is astounding, you can see why the Zeiss name has been heldin such high esteem for so long. Please noteall my Zeiss Jena are genuine East German made.
