                   CARL ZEISS JENA JENOPTEM DDR 10 X 50W BINOCULARS.                 __________________________________________________ Excellentpair of Carl Zeiss  DDR producedbinoculars, this is the Jena Jenoptem 10 x 50W Multicoated model from EastGermany complete with  the originalleather  case which is in very goodcondition  and has a lined maroon velvetinterior which is excellent. The strap and the lanyard is also original and good .The serial number is 5410344indicating 1980 as date of production. Thecosmetic condition is good , however some paint has been touched up to some ofthe edges,  please look at the photographs and hopefullythe extent should be visible.  Theoptical condition reflects the standards associated with this Company…theygive a Superb Bright and Sharp image. The collimation is correct and no visible damage to either the prisms orlenses .Reverse viewing reveals a spotless interior with no signs of any debris/ mold etc and also no signs of any deterioration of the special coatingsapplied during manufacture. The  have the later T3M multicoatings which dogive a superior contrast and colour rendition compared to the earlymodels…  All focusing functions aresilky smooth and positive In other words an extremely fine pair of binoculars,suitable for all outdoor activities especially horse racing and  sporting venues where a pictorial view addsto the overall satisfaction achieved by this wide angled model .  This model in particular has an outstandingoptical performance and I am toldthatsome years of production, these models did in fact excel over the normal run. Thankyou for your bidding and kindly contact me if any further information isrequired.Ido have a return policy if they do not adhere to the above description, pleasecontact me  as soon as possible if anyproblems exist,  thank you for yourcooperation.. Myreturn policy is accepted for a period of 14 days, but if you wish to return them due toachange of mind or mistake, according to Ebays rules and regulations a selleris not obligedtoaccept this return request, however I will consider the situation and negotiateas a matterofgoodwill Iwill ship these binoculars Worldwide and use the Royal Mail Internationalsigned for service  which has fullinsurance cover, and the following costs are as below: AllUKdestinations I will use the Next day delivery and the cost will be                           11.00 AllEEC destinations I will use the International Signed for service the cost willbe         20.00 AllWorldwide destination I will use the International Signed for service the costwill be 27.00                             All services willcarry full Insurance cover    I take a great deal of care when packingbinoculars and they will arrive in the aboveconditionand please inform me if any problems exist.   Thank you.
