Carl Zeiss Jena Jenoptem binoculars with case, 10 x 50, Made in DDR. Seven digit serial number 3859728 which I estimate is from around 1953. The outside body is in very good condition, only minor worn black finish mainly at the large lens covers, carrying strap looks ok. Looking through the big lenses (ie looking the wrong way round) one prism has couple very tiny black spots, the other one a short line of black. When using correctly you can not see these at all. The focus wheel, eye adjustment and width adjustment all move with ease. The case itself is in very good condition, the carrying strap has broken though.
