A pair of Carl Zeiss Jena DDR 10×50 multi coated Binoculars, with nice original brown leather case, in good usable condition. Serial number is 5053441, I believe these to be genuine German made and not a Japanese copy.
These are traditional style binoculars, large and heavy compared with more modern roof prism designs, however the Zeiss optics and coatings are excellent.
The binoculars have signs of light use only, optics clean and undamaged, focus adjustments are light and smooth, alignment good. There is one very small spot of what I take to be fungus on one side only. It is quite invisible in practical use. Hard to photograph but it can be just be seen in one of the pictures, and in more detail in the last picture.
