Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Jenoptem 8x30w multi-coated binoculars serial number 5351815 (1980.) . This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars, bearing the correct 7-digit serial number and clearly marked “DDR”. They feature Zeiss’ revoluntionary world-beating T3M multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission and optimal viewing even in difficult conditions. The binoculars are in full working order with no faults or damage optically, crystal-clear internally and nicely collimated – i.e. no double image. They focus very smoothly producing a bright, pin-sharp image, Carl Zeiss optical excellence at its finest. They have been well used and so the cosmetic condition is good but certainly not like new. They come with their original solid leather red velvet lined case, also well used but clean and undamaged. A great classic binocular in very sound condition ready to give many more years of enjoyable use. Binoculars will be carefully packed in a well-padded box and sent fully insured.
