Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Jenoptem 8x30w multi-coated binoculars serial number 5168062 (1980.) This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars, bearing the correct 7-digit serial number and clearly marked “DDR”. They feature Zeiss’ revoluntionary world-beating T3M multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission and optimal viewing even in difficult conditions. The binoculars have recently had a full overhaul and so are in perfect working order with no faults or damage. They are crystal-clear internally and nicely collimated – i.e. no double image or eye strain. And the cosmetic condition is also excellent. They focus very smoothly producing a bright, pin-sharp image, Carl Zeiss optical excellence at its finest. They come with their original solid leather red velvet lined case with case shoulder strap and black leather binocular lanyard.
