Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Jenoptem 8x30w binoculars serial number 3750744 (1970.) This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars, bearing the correct 7-digit serial number and clearly marked “DDR”. The binoculars are in full working order with no faults or damage optically, crystal-clear internally and nicely collimated – i.e. no double image or eye strain. They focus very smoothly producing a bright, pin-sharp image, Carl Zeiss optical excellence at its finest. And the Jenoptem’s wide angle of view takes in plenty of the scenery. Cosmetic condition is good with the light wear normal for a classic binocular which has seen regular use – please look carefully at the pictures. But they are still quite presentable, very clean and a pleasure to use. They come with their original solid leather red velvet lined case, case strap and black leather binocular lanyard.
