Carl Zeiss Jena DDR “Jenoptem” 8 x 30w binoculars serial number 4402640 (1976.) This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars clearly marked “DDR” and with the correct 7-digit serial number. These binoculars are in full working order, A1 optics, crystal-clear internally, no trace of fungus, haze or dust. Centre focusing and right diopter adjustment work smoothly and collimation is perfect (no double image). And there is absolutely no damage (chips or cracks or cleaning marks) to any prisms or lenses. Cosmetics are very smart with very little wear to the paint or leather.
