Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Deltrintem 8×30 T3M Multi-Coated Binoculars with Case

Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Deltrintem  8×30 multi-coated binoculars serial number 5955718 (1983.) . This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars, bearing the correct 7-digit serial number and clearly marked “DDR” and also featuring T3M multi-coated optics for enhanced viewing in difficult lighting conditions. The Deltrintem was the premium Zeiss 8×30 binocular, superior to the 8×30 Jenoptem. This example is in as very good condition both optically and cosmetically. The binoculars have no faults or damage optically and are crystal-clear internally. They are nicely collimated (no double image) and both centre focussing and right diopter adjustments work very smoothly. They produce a  bright, pin-sharp image, Carl Zeiss optical excellence at its finest. Cosmetic conditon is also very good with just some light wear to the paint. They come with their special top-loading solid leather case unique to the Deltrintem, which unfortunately is in rather poor condition, with a loose, repaired hinge. But the case is clean inside and the red velvet lining still protects the binoculars very well. There is also the original black leather binocular lanyard in very good condition. A great classic binocular ready to give many more years of use and enjoyment. Binoculars will be carefully packed in a well-padded box and sent fully insured. I am happy to post world-wide.
