A pair of Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Dekarem 10×50 binoculars, serial number 4313570, with original leather case.
These traditional style binoculars are in excellent near mint condition including optics, with virtually no signs of use. No visible fungus, haze, or coating damage, with perhaps just few hardly visible dust particles. Focus action is smooth and light – they focus down to around 15 feet with my eyesight. Alignment is good. The case has signs of moderate use commensurate with age, the leather straps are fine but I would replace them with nylon straps if I were going to use them.
