No haze or fogg inside, no scratches or bumps visible. Vision is clear, not doubled or distorted

Carl Zeiss Jena DDR “Deltrintem” 8 x 30 Q1 binoculars.This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars clearly marked “DDR” and with the correct 7-digit serial number.The Deltrintem was the premium range East German Zeiss  8 x 30 binocular, being hand assembled using specially selected components. 

These binoculars are  A1 optically, crystal-clear internally with no fungus or haze and with no damage at all to prisms or any cleaning marks/scratches on the lenses. Collimation is perfect with no double image. They focus very smoothly and produce and bright, pin-sharp image. Cosmetic condition is very smart but there are some signs of use if examined closely. Case shoulder strap and black leather binocular lanyard are present and in good condition. This particular example, with its Q1 coatings and premium-grade optics therefore scores  highly as a top-performer ready to give many more years of enjoyable use.
