CARL ZEISS JENA (DDR) 8 x 30 Deltrintem Q1 glass, binoculars dated 1968 in original leather case, no strap on bino
Very good Carl Zeiss binoculars, Made in DDR. It is an instrument for the collector AND others..This auction is for 1 (one) piece: number nr. 3580889 from 1968 in original leather caseTechnical and optical in good condition
Light /normal use regarding her age.
No haze or fogg inside, no scratches or bumps visible. Vision is clear: not doubled or distorted Some little marks on the leather case and strap, nothing strange I think

Carl Zeiss Jena DDR “Deltrintem” 8 x 30 Q1 binoculars.This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars clearly marked “DDR” and with the correct 7-digit serial number.The Deltrintem was the premium range East German Zeiss 8 x 30 binocular, being hand assembled using specially selected components.
These binoculars are A1 optically, crystal-clear internally with no fungus or haze and with no damage at all to prisms or any cleaning marks/scratches on the lenses. Collimation is perfect with no double image. They focus very smoothly and produce and bright, pin-sharp image. Cosmetic condition is very smart but there are some signs of use if examined closely. Case shoulder strap and black leather binocular lanyard are present and in good condition. This particular example, with its Q1 coatings and premium-grade optics therefore scores highly as a top-performer ready to give many more years of enjoyable use.
In about 10 years time the price will be much higher ….. or total not available anymore…
