I bought these binoculars in charity shop and therefore know little about their history.
I have very little experience of describing the condition, beyond what I have just read on the internet. The optics do appear clean, with no dust inside, no haze or scratches. They also appear to be in alignment.
There are a number of small scratches on the leather case and in the the photograph I have highlighted the damage to the hinge.
