I have several sets of Binoculars on at present – I am not a Binocular expert or Binocular dealer – If there is dirt or Fungus inside visible I will mention it as with chipped damaged lenses.I do not strip / clean or tamper with binoculars so all are described based upon visual examination I do not pay for optics to be cleaned once received ( which I have been asked to do in past)
c.1947 Kershaw Olympic Binoculars .Coated extra wide angle 8 x 30 BinocularsProbably based on unused Wartime stock Just post WW2 – for 1948 London Olympics?Top left marked Coated Extra Wide Angle Kershaw Right marked 8×30 The Olympic no.49517Centre focus knob at base of centre hinge.Some wear to paint Seem crisp and clear in use – light film of dirt to inner – don’t appear to affect use .Retains Leather case – some wear to outer.Missing buckle tab,some wear to stitching on lid Red lining stamped Kershaw to base and inner of lid.
