Optics seem reasonably OK – no major defects, they could still be used as a normal pair of bincoulars. The right optic does have some sort of black hair stuck in it that’s quite small.

 

 

I’ve stated these are British WW2 but this is an assumption – they’re not dated, but from what I can tell these were very common in the early war years. 

 

 

They have the marking:
