All the controls work as theyshould and its easy to set up point and view. Its also not that heavy so takeit to star parties or may be down the beach on a summers day and look at theoil rigs or wild life. There is a dovetail telescope mount so you could evenbuy other telescopes and simply slide it onto the stand.The 70mm object lenshas a lot more light gathering properties than a 50 or 60 mm so thats a bigplus. You can see Jupiter, its bands and moons, Saturn, and our  moon as always looking incredible. You canfocus in to craters , pop your web cam in and take photographs. Lots of thingsto experiment with.
