Binoculars from 40 plus years ago, the leather case is 7.75in x 8in x 3.25in, it was my fathers pride and joy when he went to the racecourse once year, they are 10 x 50, coated optics, very unusualy it has Empire Made Boots. I presume they were made somewhere in the British Empire, and sold by Boots? They are like new, no marks or sign of wear on the binoculars, the leather straps are 40 plus years old and showing there age, the case is really good, there is only a little sign of age at the bottom, a bit of patina. The inside is lined with red velvet, looks like new. They weigh 1.5kilos, hence the postage costs, I think its a pretty good example of 60s or early 70s binoculars, very well cared for and looked after.
