These were with my late grandfathers things when I’ve had a real clear out. He was born and brought up in Dublin these are antique binoculars made in London by French and sons see photos for name and letter n with date 1916 he may have had them in Dublin during the Irish civil war he fought on Collins side I’ve got quite of photos of him during that time in uniform.he was an amateur photographer and later joined the British lancers in Egypt so he could have got the binoculars there they work and seem in great condition lovely patina the case is slightly damaged with stitching loose on top of case see photos. There are some serial numbers s3 50584 any questions ease ask they will be carefully wrapped when I sendGood luck
