A pair of high quality, (2nd World War), Barr & Stroud CF41 7 x (7 x 50) British military (Navel) binoculars, in good working order. Alignment is fine, there is some slight age related dirt specks in the optics but still a good clear view, the individual eyepiece focus controls work smoothly, they have click stops, the centre pivot is quite stiff, will probably ease off with use. They feature built in lens hoods, twist the lens bezel to extend them (see picture number seven), they also have unique built in yellow filters for night use operated by external knobs (see picture number nine). Cosmetically they have quite a lot of paint chips, there is some slight surface corrosion on some of the metal surfaces but are generally in a fair condition. They have the military broad arrow symbol on both side body coverings and the rear prism right cover. Made in England by Barr and Stroud, Glasgow and London, model CF41, Admiralty Pattern (A. P.) No.1900A,  serial number 33008, comes with original leather neck strap, leather rain cover and brown hard leather case with strap. Rugged and still quite usable binoculars, should be good in low light conditions..
