Barr & Stroud CF 30 Binoculars + case +straps.
Uncommon (Only one on Ebay) pre war forerunner of the CF41.
No filters.
Porro 2 design. Better light transmission.
Cemented prisms + field lens cemented to prism.

Binoculars are in good used condition.
The only real issue is a cracked objective beauty ring. See pic.
Apart from that they are pretty good.
These I think date from the 30’s. Interocular distance set screw seems to have been present 1934 to 36. But I stand to be corrected.
Oculars are a little stiff, but are usable. They could probably do with a clean if you were fussy.

They were in a terrible state. They are not perfect now, 1 of the prisms has a chip, only visible when you look through the wrong way.
But are pretty much as good as the 85 year old prisms are going to be I think., a few marks if you look really carefully the wrong way through them.
Objectives show some haze. Especially around the edges. Some cleaning marks, as to be expected.
Despite all this the view through them is very good.
Collimation is good, image is bright.
Nice usable pair of binoculars.
No graticules.
Nice original case + strap.
Binocular strap also looks very nice.
