                   AVIMO MILITARY BINOCULARS 7 X 42Thisauction is for an Excellent pair of ” fixed focus ” AvimoMilitary  7 x 42 binoculars produced inthe UK , they became a firm favourite of the SAS and other special forcesunits.  Being of the fixed focus typethey have the ability to pick out distant objects without the need of thenormal focus adjustment, hence a veryuseful asset when time is limited as on active service. Thecosmetic condition  is first class withno damage or abrasions and no paint  loss. The armor coating appears  to beundamaged .The rubber eye cups are in very good condition and have no marks , asare the hard plastic eyepiece covers. They are marked  ( Original ..PMY 614  ) They have a sighting graticule in the righteyepiece with markings   (  1 DIV =10 MILS ) this pair has had little useand has been well cared for. Thebinoculars are marked as follows:  7×42.L12A1 .1240-99-965-6105 /Regno Avimo 2000. Theoptics are superb , with no cleaning marks and the image produced is bright andcrystal clear. The objective lenses are without scratches  and reverse viewing reveals a very cleaninterior with no signs of any mold / debris etc and most importantly thecollimation is correct, ensuring no stress when viewing over extended periods oftime. A pair of semi green ocular filters are included which do defuse bright sunlight,reducing eyestrain accordingly.   Theyare nitrogen filled, totally waterproof and of robust construction whichmakesthese binoculars very suitable for the most arduous conditions. The7x 42 format combined with large oculars ( approx  22 mm ) gives a superbimageespecially under low light situations . Iwill ship these binoculars worldwide if requested .
