The team provides expert medical care to help alleviate and manage pain and symptoms, and provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, their carers and loved ones. They are supported in an atmosphere of genuine warmth, which is positive, but not falsely optimistic. Our service is free of charge to the patient. However, our charity status means that we rely heavily on financial and voluntary support from the general public. It costs more than 7 million annually – equivalent to 14 a minute – to provide our services and more than 80p in the has to be met from voluntary support. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE BIDDING. All our items are donated to our charity and we have no history with them. We always describe our items honestly as we see them. If you have any problems receiving an item or are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to resolve the problem. All items are listed and packed by supervised volunteers. Should there be problems we always do our best to resolve them fairly and amicably. Our hours of trading are Monday to Friday 9am 4pm.
