Youare bidding for a nice set of named English made World War One Officer’s fieldbinoculars.  I apologise for the cost of P & P, but toensure that these arrive safely means the amount of packaging puts this intothe tariff of Royal Mail’s Small Parcel Tariff (see my feedback about packagingand delivery).I have providedsome high definition images of the item. These should give you a good overview, but if you require others thenplease contact me so I can provide these and/or answer any questions.Ascan be seen from the images this is a set of NEGRETT & ZAMBRAbinoculars.  On the one side of the bodyof the binoculars it states “NEGRETT & ZAMBRA, LONDON”.  On the central brass pinion it states”PATENT”, and the  logo forNegrett & Zambra.   The binocularshave a strap attached to them.  They donot come with lens covers or a case.Whenextended they span approximately 11cm. From lens end to lens end, again when fully extended is approximately13cm.Please note thatthe images form part of the listing description and therefore the conditionreport.  Please carefully review theimages before you bid.   These were partof a job lot and I therefore do not know their history.  As such, as antique pieces, they may not be100%.  As antique pieces, any buyershould consider that they may not always be perfect as these are being soldsecond-hand.Thebinoculars, for their age are in good condition, although they could do with aclean.  There are no apparent scratcheson the lenses and there is no chipping to the paintwork of the body of thebinoculars, except on the edges of the lens housing, which is more likely to beware & tare aspects.  There are somecracks in the black leather that surrounds the body of the left hand side.   Also, some of the paint has rubbed of thebase plate on the opposite side of the end of the binoculars from theeyepieces.  A great buy for someone whocollects World War One memorabilia and binoculars.  I hope the images give a good impression ofthe  condition of the item.  It does not come with a case or lens covers.Please review theimages and do your own research for your view on the above and make sure youare happy with these before you bid.
