This advert is to raise money for our Antique telescope Restoration Society
So please support us, even with words of encouragement, but preferably with Cash, sorry to be blunt.
Our aim is very simple:
To introduce antique quality scopes to the general public especially to young people, with the aim of inspiring then to the world of Astronomy.
The following are scope that I have worked on/ refurbished over the last two years-
1 150mm appro triplet on a fantastic aluminium ALT AZ mount
2. ditto
3. ditto
4. A Irving- Moonracker project.
5. Thomas Cooke 6 inch refractor.
6. ditto
7. A 1940 3 inch Irving refrector.
8. A 1970 3inch equatorial Unitron – just love it.
9.ditto plus a very very nice 60 mm Unitron – in mint condition.
10. A fully restored all brass Enbeeco from about 1950.
11. Me (in centre) singing the words to the Dam Busters for Charity.

Most of the scopes can can transported to Schools in Lancashire for demonstration along with a little talk.
