Antique STEWARD WWI ERA TELESCOPE QUICK FOCUS RIFLEMAN 3 DRAW Early 20thC FWO

A WWI Era Three Draw Telescope, the “Quick Focus Rifleman” by J.H. Steward London.

An original and genuine Early 20th Century period Telescope.All Lenses, including the internal ones, are chip, crack and major scratch / damage free. Surprisingly powerful and working extremely well giving a good clear image.

With one or two peripheral specks of dust visible but nothing that compromises the view in use.

With one Strap Fixing adrift, a small nick or two to the Leather, some signs of use to the end of the Hood, and a very shallow dent to the Barrel, all as shown,Otherwise in very good order with no cracks, splits, major damage, or any structural issues.

The Leather Wrap is firmly in place with a sound Stitched Seam.

The Rain / Sun Hood is detachable on a Screw Thread.Will focus easily and precisely, focus is achieved by the twisting of the Smallest Draw which works in and out on a worm gear, (well lubricated as shown), as it says, “Quick Focus”, and it is, a very efficient system working smoothly and firmly with no slack or play.
With only extremely slight sideways movement at the joints when fully extended.

All Threads run cleanly and tighten fully.

Leather Caps in good order, clean with sound Seams and with no rips, losses or major damage.A very presentable and working Antique Telescope which may even have had Service with the Military on a “Private Purchase” basis, hard to be certain one way or the other.Shown comprehensively in the many pictures, please examine them in close up before you bid, to satisfy yourself as to condition, suitability, etc. of the item(s) shown.I always show items in their true light, and will never deliberately hide a negative or detrimental aspect.Measures as shown.Weighs approx’ :- 851.0 gms, not packed for Shipping.Will be Shipped Domestically or Worldwide as required within a Rigid Cardboard Tube with the appropriate packing to ensure its safe transit.
