Beautiful Antique Circa 1890 French enamel on aluminium body Opera/Theatre glasses, lightweight field glasses/binoculars. Mother of Pearl eye piece frames. Red enamel With floral designs & on one barrel a minature of a chap in Georgian period clothing & the objects of his desire on the other barrel. With silk bound extending, 2 draw removable handle Measuring 9cm shut x 15cm extended. The binoculars measuring 10cm x 6.5cm fully open, 5cm shut. Some small dents to aluminium lense frames, all the enamel is perfect, lenses look in good order, all moving parts complete & working well & magnification is pretty good. Very good age related condition with nice pateena.
