Offered for sale I have these superb antique French silver and leather opera glasses purse

The twist handle on the side is marked ‘La Mignonne Patent Brevette SDDG’

Hallmarked Birmingham, sterling silver and maker’s mark for Horton & Allday (1885 – 1935)

The body, chain and chain ring are all hallmarked.

All parts are in very good condition. The catch, hinges side concertina flaps all in good order. The binocular lenses twist for use smoothly and the focus wheel works correctly.

Approx. dimensions – 12cm x 8.5cm

A superb collector’s item in wonderful antique condition which would still be great to use today!
