Antique brass and leather field glasses.
A small sized pair, the condition is fairly good, the lenses are all here and have no cracks or breaks, though the coating on the inside is deteriorating.
The brass work was originally all painted black but most of this has worn away. The brass around the large lenses is quite bashed and split in places from. Not the greatest magnification, they may have been gentleman opera glasses.
When closed up they measure 10cm x 11cm and are nearly 14 cm long when fully extended.
I haven’t found any makers marks, they do have some age to them.
