Made By Smith & Ramage Aberdeen
It has got the name of Smith & Ramage, 45 Regent Quay, Aberdeen, engraved on the first small section. The only info I can find is that they operated in the mid 1800’s. Size wise when closed with the cap on it is 13.5cm long, when all 8 sections are extended it is 65cm long. The smaller end is 2.8cm across with a small shutter and the bigger end is 4cm across. The leather cover and cap appear to be in good condition as is the brass work, there are a couple of small dints on the largest brass section. I can see daylight through it but nothing else, I don’t know how to operate it, all the lenses are present.
