For sale is my Altair Astro refractor
It is a 60mm ED instrument with a focal length of 420mm.The telescope has a built in dovetail plate for attachment to Skywatcher/Vixen mounts. It can also be attached to a sturdy photo tripod.
It is in very good condition. The red dot finder and base are brand new replacements from Altair Astro.
The lens cap is made from aluminium and is threaded and screws onto the retractable dew shield to protect the objective lens.
The focuser is very accurate and can take a good DSLR setup if you intend to use for imaging.
The case is well padded and would be idea for taking on a plane. It’s very compact.
