Presented for Auction are these Vintage Leather Cased Deraisme Paris Binoculars. This is not our Field of collectables. We have supplied a number of photographs for interested parties prior to bidding. Please ask further questions if necessary
These Binoculars are unusual in that the two barrels are fixed together just below the focus wheel, and there are extending covers to the objective lenses. They may have possibly been of Military use but we don’t know ourselves and bidders should bid according to their own expertise
In the Closed position these binoculars measure approx 3.37ins high by approx 5.25 ins wide.  In the extended position with the eye piece sections fully raised and the extending covers to the lens fully extended these binoculars measure approx 4.75 ins high. The Objective Lenses are approx 2.25ins in diameter. There is no indication on these binoculars of their magnification.
The Manufacturers name is split ‘Deraisme’ and ‘Paris’ either side of the central screw fitment between the eye pieces with a scratch through the letter ‘a’ of ‘deraisme’. There are no Military markings present to either the binoculars or leather carrying case.
Condition. In a Vintage/Used Condition with commensurate wear to the blackened finish of the body of the binoculars as can be clear seen in our photos. There are also teeth missing and slight knocks to the ‘focus wheel’ and the wheel is slightly stiff to turn. The black leatherette sections are in a very good condition with only minor ding marks. The Lenses are very clean when looking down either end with no signs of mould but some minute spot marks to the underside of the eye piece lenses. The Leather Neck strap to the binoculars is broken. 
The Leather Carrying case is in a Very Good Condition given its age with its stitch work in an excellent condition, but there is age/wear related marks through use to the leather of the buckle/strap and the shoulder/neck strap.
