I continue to downsize my 35 year collection of binoculars.

A specific specification I collected was that of then “ordinary”, now no longer made , the 7 x 35 porro prism with wide angle view of 10+ degrees. This type was widely sold in the 1960s/70s/80s and has now disappeared in favour of “smaller” roof prism glasses.

I always found the wide angle “like looking through a window” porro view both spectacular and far better than a roof prism.

I have a number of this genre of glass which I will be disposing of in the coming weeks. The fields of view of these vary between 10 and 12.5 degrees.

This one is branded Hanimex, 11.5 degree field, clear optics and smooth focus and perfect collimation. It has fold down rubber eyecups and a super view particularly with eyecups folded down.

No damage to body or any glass and has its plastic original strap and eyepiece covers.
