This 6 Newtonian Reflector Telescope has been built by thewell-known Terry Platt of Starlight Xpress (https://www.sxccd.com). It was started some years ago but not quitecompleted. I bought it from him in orderto complete it but as I work for myself and am now moving house I do not havethe time and space for it.The wooden body is very robustly built with excellent internalbracing and all fixings for the mirror and viewing pieces etc. It has now satin my shed for many years and so has a number of age related marks and coulddo with a good clean but no serious damage.The rotating mount uses a plated lorry brake drum with a stainlesssteel belt drive. The parts include primary mirror with mounting, secondarymirror and holder, eyepiece and eyepiece holder, mountings, brackets, collarsand drive motor. The mirrors have beensilvered to a very high standard and together with the eyepiece are in as newcondition. These parts have beencarefully stored indoors.
