Telescope also disassembles easily for access to the internal lenses, enabling them to be cleaned in the field. This telescope features orange brown leather sheathed hand stitched covering tapered barrel , including the protective end caps, which are attached to the shoulder carry strap. It is engraved ” J. Scott London 1753 ” on the first draw. It measures 7.5” closed, 20″ open with sunshade extended, a quality telescope weighing approx- 575 gm, and a pleasure to use.
