– to connect your DSLR cameras to telescopes/spotting scopes for picture taking, with or without telescope’s eyepiece in its place
This camera adapter is designed to connect DSLR cameras to telescopes and spotting scope for digi-scoping. The adapter has a 2″ (50.8mm) outside diameter on one end (to be inserted into telescope’s 2″ focuser) and a T2 (M42x0.75mm) thread on the other for connection to standard SLR camera T-rings (you can choose a camera T-ring from this store).The adapter also has a M48x0.75mm internal thread so that it screws on any M48x0.75 male thread (=2″ filter thread) that is often found with large scopes (eg. 30-90×100 spotting scope).This large adapter allows camera connection to telescopes with or without the telescope eyepiece in its place (you can see a right side up image on your camera viewfinder when the scope eyepiece is there).
You connect one end of this barrel to the eyepiece base of the scope (with 48×0.75mm threads), or insert it to the telescope’s focuser with 2″ (50.8mm) diameter, and connect a DSLR camera to the corresponding T-ring which is attached to the other end of this adapter. You can then take pictures with your camera through the scope.Note: This listing includes a large T-adapter and a camera T-ring. Please select a correct T-ring from this shop for your camera model: eg., Nikon, Canon, Sony A-mount, Sony E-mount, Pentax K, Olympus Micro 4/3 (also compatible with Panasonic Lumix G), Minolta, Ricoh. 1. You can see a right side up image from the camera view finder when the telescope’s eyepiece is remained in its place.
2. This listing is for one large 2″ T-adapter and one DSLR camera T-ring. Please choose a correct camera T-ring for your camera model from this store. There is no need to order the T-ring separately, but please let us know which one you need for your camera.

4. This adapter does not fit NIPON 25-125×92 spotting scope. A different adapter set (ebay item number 351404360130) is required for this scope model.
