19th Century Cary Brass telescope. Leather bound. Very heavy solid brass base.
Inscriped ‘Cary Strande London’ – dates between 1794 – 1820.
Scope is in good condition, however the brass base has been snapped at the base and at the scope – so the middle is missing sadly.
Scope can be used without the stand.
Telescope tripod is 22 inches high.Telescope is 35 inches long fully extended.
Buyer collects from near Paignton, Devon as too heavy to post.
